Storage units let you save up to 90 spaces (in Wild World) and 160 spaces (in City Folk) of items you cannot fit or want showing in your house. If you have more than one storage unit, you cannot get additional storage; it will just contain the items currently in storage. You can access these storage units in the Auction House. (City Folk only) In the original Animal Crossing, you can have more than one storage unit, with each holding up to three items.
