The Japanese Theme is a furniture theme that first appears in Doubutsu no Mori. It is a collection of Japanese-inspired furniture items. The theme was removed from Animal Crossing, with a few pieces reappearing in Animal Crossing: Wild World as part of the Japanese Set. While many of the theme's original items were brought back in Animal Crossing: City Folk, the collection's theme status was never renewed and it would remain a set both in that game and in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
