Mossy Garden Theme

The Mossy Garden Theme is a collection of Japanese garden-inspired furniture items that first appeared in Doubutsu no Mori. The theme was discontinued in Animal Crossing: Wild World when some of the items were removed and the few remaining pieces became the Backyard Set. While many of the theme's original items were brought back in Animal Crossing: City Folk, the collection's theme status was never renewed and it would remain a set both in that game and in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

A localization error was made in the English translations of Wild World and City Folk: what had been known as the the Backyard Theme in Animal Crossing was erroneously named the Mossy Garden Theme. The theme's furniture list for these games therefore appears both here and on the Backyard Theme page for ease of use.
