The Mario Series is a furniture series that was added in the 1.8.0 Free Update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The series consists of Super Mario-themed items. The items were first teased to return on September 3, 2020, during the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Nintendo Direct.^[1] All of the items are available from Nook Shopping only if the player has a Nintendo Account linked to their Nintendo Switch profile and the system date is set to March 1, 2021 or later.

No villagers own items from the Mario Series inside of their houses.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons[edit]

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, only the Large Mushroom Platform, Shell, and Small Mushroom Platform can be customized by either the player or Cyrus. The Large Mushroom Platform has three available variations: Red, Blue, and Green. The Shell has two available variations: Green and Red. The Small Mushroom Platform has three available variations: Yellow, Pink, and Green.
