The cast is a shoe item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. Unlike most shoes, the cast only applies to one of the player's feet, leaving the other barefoot.

The cast can be obtained from the Able Sisters or from the doctor at the Hospital in Happy Home Paradise when selecting "My knee hurts." → "It's a dull pain.".

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Stinky and Tabby. The item can also be unlocked when tasked by Lottie to design the hospital. In addition, the item can be used to change the clothing of the player either during or after the designing process for screenshot purposes.
