Porcupines are a type of villager in the Animal Crossing series. The Able Sisters - who run the clothes shop - fall under this type of villager, as does the City Folk character, Labelle. The three porcupines reveal more about themselves and their family after you talk to them for a while. It takes 12 days to be a friend of Sable.
