Skunks are a species of character in the Animal Crossing series. The only skunk in the Animal Crossing series, Kicks, made his first appearance in Animal Crossing: City Folk where he operates a shoe-shining service in the city. He returned in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, where he owns a shoe shop, and again in Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival and Super Mario Maker (as a costume). He is the only skunk to appear in an Animal Crossing game so far. Blaire and Tasha somewhat resemble skunks, but they are actually squirrels.
