This article is about the stage in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. For the location in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, see here.

Tortimer's Island is a stage based on the island in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which makes an appearance in the Nintendo 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros. as a stage. It was announced during the April 8th 2014 Nintendo Direct. Kapp'n, Leila and Tortimer have been chosen to appear as the background characters of the stage.

There is a small pond in the island, which cannot be seen in the game. A small wooden dock can be seen in the island where the players can stand on. There will be trees in the grassy part of the island near the bungalow, and some coconut trees can be seen near the ocean. The stage's layout changes whenever the players choose the stage.

NTSC-U: Take a ride on Kapp'n's boat to reach this tropical island, home to fish, insects, and fruit you can't find anywhere else. Tortimer's tours are also available here. Eat the fruit on this stage to reduce your damage, but keep an eye out for the occasional bomb in the mix too!

PAL: A tropical island where you'll find fish, insects and fruit that you can't get in your own town. To reach it, just take a ride on Kapp'n's boat. While you're fighting on this stage, make sure to eat some of the delicious fruits from the trees to heal yourself, but watch out - bombs sometimes get mixed in with the too!

Tips[edit]

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[edit]

"The shallow waters around the island are home to some vicious sharks. They'll swim close and try to make a meal of an unsuspecting fighter."

"Durians and coconuts have no healing power, but sometimes they can explode when thrown."

"Kapp'n's boat will sail out to sea after some time has passed. Disembark before he sails you off the stage!"

"Beehives will occasionally fall from the trees. Unless you like swarms of bees attacking you, be careful not to hit those beehives..."
