Simon (エテキチ, Etekichi) is a lazy, monkey villager from the Animal Crossing series. His name may come from the game "Simon Says". "Monkey see, monkey do," is a popular expression, and this expression relates to how the game "Simon Says" is played.

Appearance

Simon is a brown monkey with a white muzzle and red around his eyes. He has a long brown tail. He somewhat resembles the blue and red-eared monkey species.

Simon has a lazy personality, which means he will enjoy eating and sleeping. Cranky villagers will admire his laid-back attitude, yet jock villagers will argue with him due to his lack of exercise. Simon will get along with other lazy villagers due to the same interest.

House

Simon has a fan palm, bonfire, cabin bookcase, conga drum, and two tiki torches in his house. He has some other stuff, too. He has the sandlot as his carpet and the lunar horizon as his wallpaper, both which can only be received from Sahara. If given a stereo, he will play Forest Life on it.
