Nintendo Kōshiki Guidebook: Doubutsu no Mori+ Icon+Tokei CD-ROM is a computer program included as a bonus with Nintendo Kōshiki Guidebook Doubutsu no Mori+, published by Shogakukan.[1] The CD-ROM includes a clock program and desktop icons.
Contents
The clock program and desktop icons are copied from the CD to a chosen directory by an application titled Doubutsu no Mori+ (どうぶつの森+.exe) included on the CD-ROM. This application features background artwork that changes depending on the season.
Clock
The Doubutsu no Mori+ Desktop Clock[nb 1] (doubutu_clock.exe) is a standalone application that is a real-time clock designed after the one in Doubutsu no Mori+. Every hour, the clock plays the default town tune from the game.
Doubutsu no Mori+ Desktop Clock has two settings: one to turn on or off the hourly town tune, and one to make the program display in front of active windows.
Desktop icons
Contained on the CD-ROM are 324 desktop icons featuring artwork of villagers, special characters, players, and trees.
