Astrid (キッズ, Kids) is a kangaroo villager with a snooty personality from the Animal Crossing series. Her name is derived from astrology, the study of stars. This ties in with the shirt she wears initially. Astrid was absent from Animal Crossing: Wild World and later appears in Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Appearance

Astrid is a white female kangaroo with green star patterning around her (and her joey's) eyes. She has pink inside of her ears and a bright red snout. Her tail is part green. She wears a star shirt. Each kangaroo has a joey that does the same emotion at the exact same time as them.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.

As a snooty villager, Astrid will appear uptown, classy, and chic. With this, however, she will appear rude, belittling, and snobbish when talking to the player or other villagers in the town, usually criticizing their dress sense or fashion. When talking to the player enough times, she will befriend them but still remain subtly rude. As with all snooty villagers, she has an interest in clothes over other hobbies. She will have problems socializing with other villagers, usually lazy villagers by disagreeing with their choice of lifestyle or getting offended by a jock villager, who has questioned her physical fitness.

House

In Animal Crossing, Astrid's house theme is a mix of metal and regal. She has the steel flooring, rock guitar, and a regal bed & couch. In Animal Crossing: City Folk, Astrid's house has a television, green lava lamp, sea horse, rock guitar, and if she obtains a stereo, it will play I Love You.
