Inkwell (スミダクン, Sumidakun) is a jock octopus villager from the Animal Crossing series, first appearing in Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo. Inkwell references Splatoon, and is one of several villagers introduced in the Welcome amiibo update that references other Nintendo franchises. Inkwell can be brought into the player's campground and invited to join the village by scanning any Splatoon series amiibo.
