Sydney (シドニー, Shidonī) is a normal, koala villager in the Animal Crossing series, who appears in Animal Crossing. She was absent in Animal Crossing: Wild World and re-appears in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Sydney is named after Sydney, Australia, as this is the country where koalas originate from.

Appearance

Sydney has dark purple fur, white fur on her chin and inside her ears, and pink blush on her cheeks. She has a large, brown, nose above the white part of her face. Sydney starts off wearing a a Big Dot shirt.

Sydney has a normal personality, so that means she is nice, kind and giving towards the player. Sydney enjoys flowers and furniture in her home. She is very kind and often will give the player something that she thinks he or she will like for no reason at all.

In Animal Crossing, she listens to "K.K. Jazz." In City Folk, her house has a slight log cabin theme. Her house includes the cabin wallpaper and green rug, with other items from the green series, such as the bed, table, and drawers. Other items include a Hi-Fi stereo, rook, a gyroid, and two other items of furniture. She has "K.K. Country" playing on her stereo in City Folk.
