An islander is a villager that lives on the island.
If you connect to the island with a Game Boy Advance, they can be interacted with. They all have favorite fruits and fruits they are allergic to. They can interact with tools if you drop them. They can give you prizes like money bags, which can be collected upon return to the island. There is an island bungalo for the player with four shirts in it, two of which are Red Aloha Shirts and the other two being Blue Aloha Shirts. Every player can edit this house.
