Nate (バッカス, Bakkasu, Bacchus) is a lazy bear villager in the Animal Crossing series. He first appears in Animal Crossing and then in Template:AFe+, but is absent in Animal Crossing: Wild World. He returns in Animal Crossing: City Folk. He is most likely named after bear hibernation.

Appearance

Nate is an orange bear with a thick, green unibrow. He appears to pull a continuous unhappy look upon his face, due to his mouth meeting at his nose. He also has three freckles on each cheek. He initially wears the spring shirt.

Personality

Like other lazy villagers, Nate will ask the player to invite friends into the player's town. He also likes food, and will often talk about it. His dream foods are tuna tartare and sashimi. He actually is very shy, not talking much to others. Nate is usually in a good mood and will be happy to carry a conversation with the player. If angered, Nate will usually need a few minutes to cool down, but after that he is calm, cool and collected all over again. Nate's hobbies are staying inside sitting on his couch and watching TV, and the occasional furniture hunting.

House

Nate has a little house in Animal Crossing: City Folk, he has a Hammock and Bug Zapper from the Backyard Theme. Also the Tea Set, a Refrigerator . Lastly Nate displays the White Boom Box and a Fan. For wallpaper the Ivy Wall and Backyard Lawn for floor.
