Skye (リリィ, Riryi, Lily) is a normal, wolf villager who first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Her name is derived from her appearance, which resembles the sky and clouds, while her phrase "airmail" refers to mail sent through the sky via airplane. Her birthday, March 24th, and her name may be a reference to progressive metal band Mastodon's album Crack the Skye, which was released on the same day in 2009. Skye shares her Japanese name "Lily" with the frog villager Lily.

Appearance

Skye is a green/aquamarine wolf. She has white paws and white spots on her head. Her nose is light brown, and her ears have pink inside them as many other wolf villagers do. She has one eyelash above her white, oval-shaped eyes that appear wide open.

Skye has a normal personality, so she will be a pleasant villager. She will act caring toward the player and will often ask him/her for favors. She will seem timid, but she will remain polite to all her neighbors. However, she might have problems talking to cranky villagers.

House

Skye's house contains a few items from the Alpine series: the bed, large table, dresser, and rug. The large table has a gerbera on top of it. She also has an upright piano, two plants, and a Minimalist sofa. She has a phonograph that plays "Forest Life."
