W. Link is a smug wolf villager who first appeared in the Animal Crossing series in Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo. He is based on Wolf Link from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, who is the alternate form of Link. W. Link can be brought into the player's campground and invited to join the village by scanning the amiibo of the Super Smash Bros. versions of Link and Zelda, Wolf Link, or Archer Link. His birthday is the same day The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess first released in Japan.

Characteristics[edit]
Appearance[edit]
Wolf Link is a stylized wolf villager designed to resemble the appearance of Link's wolf form in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. In coloration he is moss green overall with white underparts and paws above. His forehead is marked with ornate white symbols, and the inner portion of his mane is highlighted in tan with blue eyes. His left paw holds a bracelet resembling a chain.

W. Link is a smug villager, meaning he will act very polite and very gentleman like. He will also flirt with the player, regardless of gender. He will easily get along with other neighbors, and seems to be a mix between all male villagers.

House[edit]
His house is similar to a prison where he was retrieved from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. In the exterior, it has an emerald green roof with yellow overalls, blue wood and a metal square arched door with a fancy fence. He does not have a stereo in his house, but if he is given one, "K.K. Western" will play.
