Donating to the museum

In New Leaf

After the player donates a Tiger Prawn to the museum, the Tiger Prawn can be found in the large pool in the first room of the sea exhibit, along with many other species of sea creatures. It is found in the corner near the big rock close to the entrance of the large saltwater exhibit. The exhibit has this to say about the Tiger Prawn:

"These shrimp inhabit shallow areas of the sea and are nocturnal, hiding under sand during the day. By night, they go out and hunt shellfish before returning to the safety of their sand. Unlike other shrimp they don't carry their eggs around with them in their abdomen. They are famous for being a tasty variety of shrimp and are perfect for tempura and sushi."

In New Horizons

"The tiger prawn is a hearty crustacean found in many places around the world. Named for the stripes on its exoskeleton, it motls out of this shell as it grows in size. If only I could acquire a larger home with such ease! But do you know what I find even more fascinating? The tiger prawn's legs! It has five pairs of swimming legs, five pairs of walking legs, and three pairs of limbs it eats with! How, might I ask, does it not trip over its own 26 feet?"
