The instruction manual is a furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf introduced in the Welcome amiibo update. It can be placed on the surface of tables and other similar furniture that have surfaces for items. If this item is placed on the ground however, it is penalized by the Happy Home Academy by 1 point per each item. Interacting with this item allows the player to access the game's digital manual.
The instruction manual can be obtained in a letter from Nintendo after the Welcome amiibo update is installed.
No villagers have this item in their home, nor do any characters have this item in their RV.
