The Kamakura Hibachi (かまくらのひばち kamakura no hibachi?) (internally translated as the Hibachi Grill) is a furniture item in Doubutsu no Mori+.

The Kamakura Hibachi can be obtained from campers during the winter. It does not have any color for the purpose of fêng shui.

No villagers have this item in their home. However, it appears in campers' igloos.

Version differences

Leftover dummy item

The dummy model used by unused items in Animal Crossing.

In Animal Crossing, the Kamakura Hibachi is still leftover in the game data as a dummy item, unobtainable without gameplay modification or glitches. It has the unused name "hibachi grill" and uses the dummy model, a white triangle with red Japanese text reading ダミー (damī, dummy). Its name was also translated to other languages in the European version of Animal Crossing, with the name "grill hibachi" in Spanish, "barbecue hibachi" in French, "Hibachi-Grill" in German, and "griglia hibachi" in Italian.

The item remains unused in Doubutsu no Mori e+, where, as with all dummy items in that game, its name will appear as "かぐ?" (kagu?, furniture?) in the player's inventory. However, when dropped on the ground outside, its name from Doubutsu no Mori+ is shown. The item appears as the same dummy model but cannot be placed down in the player's house if in their inventory.
