The diary is a furniture item in Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+. It can be placed on the surface of tables and other similar furniture that have surfaces for items. As a diary, the player can interact with this item to bring up a calendar. The calendar documents events as well as the days the player has played. The player can also add an entry for each month.

The diary can be obtained from Nookway or Nookington's for  1,450 Bells, or from Tortimer for New Year's Day. It does not have any color for the purpose of fêng shui.
