Gyroids are a species in the Animal Crossing series, introduced in Doubutsu no Mori. Only one Gyroid, Lloid, has appeared in the series, serving as a special character. Lloid is introduced in Doubutsu no Mori (known then as simply Gyroid) as an assistant outside of each player's, and will save the game upon request and has since been given different roles between games.
