This item is based on the Bullet Bill Cannon, an object in the Super Mario series that occasionally fire Bullet Bills from either side.

The cannon can be obtained from Tom Nook after providing the secret code 4UT6T6L89ZnOW3dw&%jtL3qjLZBf, which was published in issue 165 (February 2003) of Nintendo Power.[1] It does not have any color for the purpose of fêng shui.
