The fake jolly painting is a wall-mounted furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. In addition to walls, it can be placed on the floor, being displayed on an easel. Compared to the real painting, the fake jolly painting has a carrot with green leaves hanging from the figure's nose. As a forgery, it cannot be sold nor donated to the museum, and attempting to sell the item to Re-Tail will result in a 100 Bells fine to dispose the item.
