The basic teacher's desk is a furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf introduced in the Welcome amiibo update. Its surface functions as a tabletop, allowing smaller items to be placed on top of it.

The basic teacher's desk can be obtained from the RV of Leopold and Blathers for  3 MEOW Coupons.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Leopold. As a result, this item can be purchased by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers. This item also appears in the RVs of Blathers and Leopold.

Notes

  1. If this item is facing a wall in the player's house, the HHA will deduct 100 points from the total score. If the player is doing a theme challenge, that penalty will increase to 10,000 points.
  2. Re-Tail sell price; can be sold for 80% of this price ( 560 Bells) at Timmy and Tommy's store
  3. Filly and Holden cannot legitimately move to the player's town via normal gameplay, but a default house layout can be observed via hacking. They share the same housing layout.
