The modern lamp is a customizable furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It is part of the Modern Series. It can be placed on the surface of tables and other similar furniture that have surfaces for items. The player can interact with this item to turn it on and off.
The modern lamp can be obtained from Timmy and Tommy's store for 1,400 Bells.[nb 2] The item's body color and lamp shade pattern can be customized by Cyrus for 140 Bells.
This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Apollo, Butch, and Savannah. As a result, this item can be purchased by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers. These villagers may also put this item up for sale at the Re-Tail flea market for 50% to 90% of the item's buy price, in increments of 10%.
