Gyroids are a species in the Animal Crossing series, introduced in Doubutsu no Mori. Only two Gyroids have appeared in the series, both as special characters. A Gyroid is present outside of each player's house in Doubutsu no Mori, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+, and will save the game upon request. Lloid, is introduced in City Folk as the proprietor and has since been given different roles between games.

- Although Gyroids are seemingly genderless, both of them are referred to as males in the games.
- One villager, Coco, has a similar appearance to a Gyroid, but is actually a Rabbit.
