The spooky chair is a houseware furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 1.5.0 Fall Update. It is part of the Spooky Series. The player is able to sit on this item. The item's top surface can be used to place smaller items, such as miscellaneous furniture. As an outdoor item, it will provide an additional 0.5 development points towards the island rating.

The spooky chair can be obtained from Nook's Cranny during October for  5,000 Bells or from crafting, which requires 3× orange pumpkin and 3× softwood. The recipe for this item can be obtained from villagers or balloons during October, or from villagers on Halloween if Candy is given to them. The item's pumpkin color can be customized either by using 2 Pumpkins or by Cyrus at Harv's Island for  1,700 Bells.

No villagers have this item in their home.

In Happy Home Paradise, no villagers or facility unlock this item for designing. It can only be used once the player's DIY catalog is unlocked after completing the 15th vacation home.

In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise however, the item is required as one of the chairs for the dining hall at the café, as one of the chairs for the waiting area at the hospital, as one of the chairs for the dining hall at the restaurant, and as one of the chairs for the classroom at the school.
