Giraffes are a species of special characters in the Animal Crossing series. There is only one giraffe throughout the series, the fashionista Gracie. She appeared in Doubutsu no Mori through Animal Crossing: Wild World as a randomly-appearing visitor, and in Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: New Leaf as the owner of the upscale clothing and furniture store GracieGrace. She also makes an appearance in Animal Crossing: New Horizons at The Roost if the player scans her amiibo.
