Chadder (チーズ, Chīzu, Cheese) is a smug mouse villager in the Animal Crossing series, making his initial appearance in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. His name is a distortion of cheddar, a kind of cheese. His initial phrase, "fromage", means "cheese" in French.

Appearance

Chadder is a yellow mouse with orange spots found all over his body, similar to cheddar cheese. He has long, thin eyes and a green nose. His initial clothing is a Tuxedo. He will often collect clothing to change his look.

Chadder has the smug personality, making him appear flirtatious towards the player. He will state that he enjoys dancing, collecting bottle caps and watching trains go by. He will be considered a mix of all the male personalities. He will have the love of sports of jock villagers, the laid-back personality of the lazy villagers and the mature traits of the cranky villagers.

House

Chadder's house is rather futuristic, containing pieces from the Astro series of furniture. He owns an Astro CD Player that will play K.K. Soul. His house also consists of a whirlpool bath, shower stall, a laptop, an air conditioner, one Gyroid and a plant. His wallpaper will be a Cityscape Wall and his carpet will be the Astro Floor. His other astro-themed items are the Astro TV, Astro Bed, Astro Sofa and Astro Closet.
