Old Era - August 2005 to May 2007
The Old Era was the time after the creation of the wiki, but before any mega-users (those with edits > 500) arrived. The wiki was a fairly empty place, with less than 100 articles for a long time. No active users from today joined in the Old Era.
Pseudo-Ancient Era - May 2007 to November 2008
This era was between May, 2007 and the release of Animal Crossing: City Folk. The wiki was a lot more active than in the Old Era, as there were a few mega-users. Again, no active users of today came from the Pseudo-Ancient era.
New Era - November 2008 to August 2009
The wiki at this period in its history was busy, for Animal Crossing: City Folk had just been released. This prompted many new users to join the wiki, and many of those (well, 4) became admins and were active for the entire era. Most administrators and active 'main' users were from England.
Entropial Era - August 2009 to January, 2010
After the surge of the New Era, the people who had been interested in Animal Crossing: City Folk started to lose interest in the franchise, becoming inactive. And that was most of the admins at the time. The quick development of the wiki, fueled by the many projects created in the previous era, was slowed, almost to a halt near the end of the era.
Magnificence Era - January 2010 to May, 2010
This era came after the period of low interest in Animal Crossing series, and gradually gained many users as it progressed. Most 'main' users now joined in the Magnificence Era. This showed a shift, in that most active users were (and still are) American.
Metamorphosis Era - May, 2010 to August, 2010
The rapid buzz of this wiki's social aspects, such as blogs and wi-fi meetings increased to a huge level. The wiki itself changed loads, new skins, new rules, new main page layout... all of these and many more new things appeared in this era.
Anniversary Era - August 2010
The Fifth Anniversary was perhaps the time when most activity happened on the wiki. As blog comments went up, article creation counts went down, primarily because, until Animal Crossing: New Leaf, most of the series had been covered.
Slowdown Era - August, 2010 to November, 2010
The onset of school for another year gradually muffled the chattiness of the wiki, until it became somewhat like the peak of the New Era. It is expected to continue through to November.
Oasis Era - November, 2010 to Present Day
In November, 2010 the new Wikia skin, Oasis, went live for every user, and the previous skins, Monaco and Monobook, were disabled, and all wikis were forced to switch. Many large wikis left Wikia, as they disliked the new skin. On the Nookipedia, the skin was generally disliked, but after modifications became nicer. A new logo was added, the background was grass, as it always had been, and all was well.
I will complete this sometime
Dimensional Era - March, 2011 to Autumn/Fall 2011
Many new users will join during this era, a time which could be likened to 'New.2'. The release of the revolutionary Nintendo 3DS, as well as its many upcoming games will spark a huge new influx of articles, as well as huge amounts of blogs and general discussion of the games. Old, inactive users may return.
