Beavers are a type of character in the Animal Crossing series. They have large teeth, like their real-life counterpart. To date, there have been two beaver characters, Chip and C.J., both of whom host the Fishing Tourney. Chip hosts the tourney in many of the games between Doubutsu no Mori and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp (excluding Animal Crossing: Wild World, where Tortimer hosts the event instead), while C.J. takes up this role in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
