Caroline (キャロライン, Kyarorain) is a normal, squirrel villager from the Animal Crossing series. Originally appearing in Template:AF+ as an islander named Bliss, she reappeared in Animal Crossing and Template:AFe+ under the same name. In Animal Crossing: Wild World, her English name was changed to Caroline, which was her Japanese name. "Caroline" may have come from "Carolina" as in North and South Carolina in the United States of America, both states bordering the Atlantic Ocean and she having an Ocean Vista wall in her house. However, her name is most likely derived from the Latin name for the Eastern gray squirrel, sciurus carolinensis.

Appearance

Bliss is a red squirrel with blonde hair and large, blue eyes. Her initial clothing is the Red Aloha shirt. She wears a white hibiscus flower on her right ear.

Caroline is a bright, soft-touched red squirrel with yellow curly hair and big, blue colored eyes; her pupils are black and she has lightly touched on some emerald eyeliner. Her arms and legs are also light red and are slightly tipped cream white. She has a yellow swirling pinstripe on her red, boingy tail. She has a touchy, cute, tiny nose but her mouth appears unhappy. Her ears are bright red and a peachy, chalky orange on the inside. Initially, she wears a Red Aloha Shirt in Template:AF+, Animal Crossing, and Template:AFe+ and a Gelato Shirt in Animal Crossing: Wild World, Animal Crossing: City Folk, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. She has a soft face despite the fact that she looks cross-eyed. While an islander, she additional;y wears a flower on her head.

Caroline is a normal villager; she is very friendly, therefore, a great friend. Sometimes, she will get naggy if you cannot find her any of the pink furniture she is asking for - she will just keep asking for some everyday. She gets along with most of the characters in the game, but most likely will only be acquainted with the snooty or cranky villagers. She prefers, most of all, the animals that are peppy, lazy, and normal since they seem to be a lot nicer.

House

In her house, she usually has the Ceramic Tile and the Ocean Vista (wall). She fills her house with a Life Ring, a Surfboard, a Beach Chair, a Basketball Hoop, a Candy Machine, a Red Sofa, and a Kiddie Stereo that plays DJ K.K. Her house's theme might be a reference to the island house Bliss lived in.

Fruit Allergy

As an islander, Caroline has a favorite fruit and a fruit that she is allergic to. Feeding her the allergy fruit will reduce the likelihood of her dropping money bags. Caroline is allergic to oranges and loves cherries.
