The cardboard chair is a customizable houseware furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It is part of the Cardboard Series. The player is able to sit on this item.
The cardboard chair can be obtained from crafting, which requires 1× cardboard box. The recipe for this item can be obtained from lazy villagers, either when they are crafting in their house, or when the player receives their message bottle from the beach. The item's design can be customized either by using 1 customization kit or by Cyrus at Harv's Island for 1,000 Bells.
This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Billy and Curt. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.
In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Boyd, Cobb, Nate, and Shep.
In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise, this item is required as one of the chairs for the dining hall at the café, as one of the chairs for the waiting area at the hospital, as one of the chairs for the dining hall at the restaurant, and as one of the chairs for the classroom at the school.
Variations
The cardboard chair has 2 variations.
Version differences
Prior to version 2.0, the cardboard chair variant body part was named "Cardboard".
