The cardboard box is a customizable furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Its surface functions as a tabletop, allowing smaller items to be placed on top of it.

The cardboard box can be obtained from Timmy and Tommy's store for  100 Bells.[nb 2] It can also be obtained from the RVs of Kicks, Stu, and Copper for  3 MEOW Coupons. The item's box printing can be customized by Cyrus for  10 Bells.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Benjamin, Buck, Cobb, Moose, and Stu. As a result, this item can be purchased by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers. Villagers may also put this item up for sale at the Re-Tail flea market for 50% to 90% of the item's buy price, in increments of 10%. This item also appears in the RVs of Copper, Kicks, and Stu.
