The Cardboard Series is a furniture series in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It consists of furniture items that are composed of singular, combined, or stacked cardboard boxes. The items in this series are obtainable via crafting using the Cardboard box, except for the cardboard box itself, which can be bought at Nook's Cranny. Although the apple cardboard and mandarin cardboard exist in Doubutsu no Mori e+, the cardboard box exists in Animal Crossing: Wild World, Animal Crossing: City Folk, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and the cardboard bed, cardboard chair, cardboard closet, cardboard sofa, and cardboard table exist in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the Cardboard Series did not exist until Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Billy owns eight items from the Cardboard Series, and Hugh owns five different cardboard boxes. The Cardboard Series is primarily owned by male villagers, at around 78% (28 male villagers out of 36 total villagers who own at least one item from the Cardboard Series).
