Tigers are a species of villager in the Animal Crossing series, often viewed, alongside the lion, as the feline equivalent of the Wolf. There are seven tiger villagers so far, of which all except two are either peppy or a jock. Rolf has a cranky personality, and Claudia has a snooty personality, although Rowan was originally a cranky islander before becoming a jock villager in Animal Crossing: Wild World.
Due to Tybalt returning in the Welcome amiibo update for New Leaf, the tiger, along with the horse and the rabbit, is the second villager species where all the villagers in that species appear in the same game together, the first being the octopus. Despite this, the tiger is one of seven villager species that was completely absent from Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp prior to updates, and currently only Bianca, Claudia, and Rowan are present in this game; Bangle, Leonardo, Rolf, and Tybalt are currently absent.
