Truffles (トンコ, Tonko), the pig, is a peppy villager from the Animal Crossing series. Her name is a reference to the edible fungus called truffles, a food that is common in a pig's diet and found hidden underground.

Appearance

Truffles is a light pink pig with a dark brown bob. She also wears a turnip top, which makes her look a little bit like a maid. Her catchphrase is "snoutie", which may relate to her snout. She has small eyes, a constant smile with blush, and very big, stubborn looking eyebrows.

As a peppy villager, Truffles will always appear to be in a good mood. She will get along with other villagers including the player, making it easy to befriend her and gain her picture in Animal Crossing: Wild World. She will enjoy the usual hobbies, and may ask the player for bugs or fish that she finds cute. She will easily get upset, but due to a short attention span she will forget ever having the conversation. Like all peppy villagers, she dreams of becoming famous in the future and reads Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by snooty and peppy villagers in Animal Crossing: Wild World. She will get on well with normal, lazy, and other peppy villagers, but may annoy snooty and cranky villagers with her upbeat personality.

House

In Animal Crossing: City Folk Truffles's house features items mostly from the Lovely series including a lovely sofa, lovely dresser and a lovely kitchen. She also has a gold-econo chair, Djimbe drum, a blue table from the Blue series, a tea set, and also a Tootoid. Her carpet and wallpaper are the lovely carpet and citrus wall. If she obtains a stereo "Two Days Ago" will be playing in her house.
