Bones (トミ, Tomi) is a lazy, dog villager in the Animal Crossing series. He has appeared in every game up to date. His name is derived from bones, a popular treat for dogs, and possibly from the term "Lazy Bones." His catchphrase is probably from the noise dogs make.
Appearance
Bones is a dog that has brown and black spots all over his body. A large brown patch covers his right eye, making it look like a bull's-eye. His floppy dog ears are tipped black and his muzzle is a plushy, faded pink. His tail is also black and his paws and feet appear the same color as his muzzle. He has a black, dog-like snout and a curly smile like a real dog would. He could possibly be based off of a Jack Russel Terrier or the "Target Dog". He initially is wearing the caveman tunic that is brown with random light orange and yellow spots.
Personality

As a lazy villager, Bones will be easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all cool villagers, he shares an interest in food and relaxing and sports. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food (fishing). He will get along well with other villager types such as the normal villagers who act as a mother or elder sister figure and peppy villagers who appear to be around the same age. He may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness, who do not understand the reason behind the lazy lifestyle choice.
House
Bones' house has a few items from the Kiddie Series, such as the Kiddie wall which matches the Green Floor he has laid out in his house. He also has two gyroids, a computer, a writing desk and an office chair. Bones has no stereo in his house initially, but once he obtains one, it will play "K.K. Ragtime."
