The log dining table is a customizable houseware furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It is part of the Log Series. The item's top surface can be used to place smaller items, such as miscellaneous furniture.
The log dining table can be obtained from crafting, which requires 15× hardwood. The recipe for this item can be obtained from either Tom Nook, where there is a 50% chance of being obtained if Tom Nook asks for this item during the villager house development quest, or cranky villagers. The item's lumber type and placemats pattern can be customized either by using 4 customization kits or by Cyrus at Harv's Island for 3,100 Bells. When customizing the item's placemats pattern, the player can use one of Sable's patterns or their own custom designs.
This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Peaches and Teddy. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers. It also appears in lazy villagers' initial homes.
In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Alli, Anicotti, Benjamin, Bianca, Broccolo, Clyde, Drift, Gonzo, Hamphrey, Maple, Marty, and Tasha.
In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise, Gonzo requires this item to be placed in or outside their vacation home. This item is also required as one of the tables for the dining hall at the café, as one of the tables for the dining hall at the restaurant, and as one of the desks for the classroom at the school.
The log dining table has 4 variations and 5 patterns.
