The Drone Beetle is a common bug in the Animal Crossing series introduced in Doubutsu no Mori. It is a green beetle found on trees during summer, and it has a similar appearance to the Fruit Beetle and Scarab Beetle. After Doubutsu no Mori e+, the Drone Beetle remained absent from the series until Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
