The bat umbrella is an umbrella item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The bat umbrella acts like a tool, allowing the player to hold on to the item. Villagers will also carry this item during periods of rain. Interacting with the umbrella causes the player to spin it around.

The bat umbrella can be obtained from Nook's Cranny for 840 Bells.

This item is used by Admiral, Angus, Apollo, Biff, Boomer, Boris, Bruce, Butch, Curt, Cyd, Del, Elvis, Gaston, Gruff, Hopper, Limberg, Marlo, Peewee, Rasher, Raymond, Ricky, Roscoe, Tom, Vic, and Wolfgang as their default umbrella during periods of rain. Ribbot has this item as their default umbrella, but will refrain from using the umbrella due to their status as a frog villager. Special characters that also features this item as their default umbrella include Brewster.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Cobb, Eugene, Hamphrey, Moe, Raymond, and Roscoe.
