The cricket is a bug in the Animal Crossing series that has appeared in every game to date.

In the games that the cricket appears in, it can be found on the ground, occasionally hopping. In Doubutsu no Mori, Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, or Doubutsu no Mori e+ however, the bell cricket will need be caught within bushes. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it can be caught exclusively during fall.
