The cardboard bed is a customizable houseware furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It is part of the Cardboard Series. The player is able to lie down on this item. If inside the player's house, the player can use the cardboard bed to enter a dream island by laying down and choosing to go to sleep.

The cardboard bed can be obtained from crafting, which requires 4× cardboard box. The recipe for this item can be obtained from lazy villagers, either when they are crafting in their house, or when the player receives their message bottle from the beach. The item's design can be customized either by using 1 customization kit or by Cyrus at Harv's Island for  1,000 Bells.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Billy, Chief, Eugene, Gaston, Graham, Kyle, and Stu. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Boyd, Clay, Cobb, Lolly, Nate, Prince, Rizzo, Rocco, Shep, T-Bone, Tammy, Teddy, and Zucker.

In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise, this item is required as one of the beds for the patient ward at the hospital.
