Cubs are a species in the Animal Crossing series, appearing exclusively as villagers. They have rounded ears and spherical tails. Cubs are a smaller version of bears, which have larger bodies, but same-sized heads. However, the cubs' heads are slightly more rounded.

Twenty cub villagers have been seen throughout the series, eleven of which are male, and nine of which are female. Of the cubs, six are lazy, four are normal, three are jocks, two are peppy, two are cranky, two are snooty, and one is sisterly. There are currently no smug bear cubs. Aisle, Poko, and Cupcake are the only cubs not to make a reappearance since Doubutsu no Mori e+. Barold, Chester, Kody, Pudge, and Vladimir are also absent from Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
