The decorative plate is a customizable miscellaneous furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. As a miscellaneous item, it can be placed on either the ground or on the surfaces of tables and other similar furniture items that have surfaces for items.
The decorative plate can be obtained from either Nook's Cranny for 14,000 Bells or the Paradise Planning office for 12,600 Poki. The item's design pattern can be customized either by using 5 customization kits or by Cyrus at Harv's Island for 3,800 Bells. When customizing the item's design pattern, the player can use one of Sable's patterns or their own custom designs. The item's stand color can only be customized by Cyrus.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Agnes, Billy, Bonbon, Buzz, Dobie, Ken, Marlo, Mitzi, Muffy, Peaches, Pekoe, Robin, Tiansheng, and Vesta. The item can also be unlocked when tasked by Lottie to design the restaurant.
