Kiki (キャビア, Caviar) is a normal, cat villager who has appeared in every Animal Crossing series game. Her name may come from Hayao Miyazaki's Kiki's Delivery Service, an anime about a young witch-in-training named Kiki who has a black cat. Kiki may be a reference to the black cat, or it may come from the sound produced when saying "kittykitty" fast.

Appearance

Kiki is a black cat with wide eyes and yellow sclera. She has perked up ears that are bright magenta inside, and a pushed up, pudgy nose. Her tail often prances about while walking around town. She wears an Argyle Knit, which is red and green in a line of diamonds, knitted with golden yellow stitches across each diamond. The tips of her arms and legs are a darker black than the rest of her body. Her pink mouth is smiling everywhere she goes, and the bridge of her nose is gray.

Kiki has a normal personality. She is shy and caring, and may get upset easily and may tell the player to stay away from her but she does not take it on him or her. When she asks the player for favors, she often compliments their speed (even if it actually takes a while). She may sometimes ask the player cooking-related questions, like how long to cook spaghetti until it's Al Denté, or cheerfully telling other villagers of a recipe she once tried, with mixed responses from the different personality types.

She wakes up at 5:00 A.M. like other normal villagers, and may appear inside towards the middle of the day. She will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies: bug catching, fishing, fossil hunting, and the others. She will also give her picture to the player (Wild World only) after talking to her frequently, telling the player they are "the best friend ever." She may mention an unseen friend called Moppina, an imaginary friend which comes from her hygiene and cleanliness concerns. Moppina is only mentioned in Wild World. Kiki will get on well with peppy and jock villagers, appearing motherly and sisterly towards them. She may become upset when talking to a cranky villager, due to their cruel nature which makes them appear rude when talking about other villagers.

Her house has a slight western theme and modern theme, containing many items from these series of furniture such as the cactus, a cow skull, and other items. She has the Mod Wall which is orange with sequencing, modular squares and circles. Her flooring is the Music Room Floor, which is tiled with different shades of brown and only available through Saharah. She also has K.K. Country playing in her house on her stereo. She also has the whole Pine Set. She'll eventually get rid of most of her furniture giving her very poor HRA points. If she ever gets given a shirt she does not want she'll put it in her room to be polite.
