"K.K. Dixie" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Doubutsu no Mori e+. It has a bright theme to it with many electric, lazy, keyboard patterns based on Antebellum-era folk music from the American south. The style of the song is based on early 20th century jazz from the south-eastern United States, specifically Dixieland. The melody resembles the American folk/gospel song "When the Saints Come Marching In," particularly the jazz rendition by Louis Armstrong.
Album cover
The album cover for "K.K. Dixie'" features K.K. Slider, Bill, Curt, and Paula dressed up as early 20th century musicians and playing various brass instruments in a typical Antebellum town, alongside K.K. playing a banjo. The Doubutsu no Mori e+ e-Reader card it is based on originally featured Fruity in Bill's place, and Madam Rosa on the balcony. In the e-Reader card, the text at the top left reads "Ke-Ke Dixie" with Japanese name of the song above it. In New Leaf the text is illegible, and in New Horizons, it reads "K.K. Dixie."
