"K.K. Bossa" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Doubutsu no Mori. It is a slow, light jazzy tune that is based on the Brazilian music genre called bossa nova, or simply shortened to "bossa." It bears some resemblance to the popular bossa nova song "The Girl from Ipanema."

"K.K. Bossa" is strongly featured in the film 🎬 Gekijōban Doubutsu no Mori — receiving an orchestral cover as well as a live cover with lyrics, the only other song with official lyrics being "Marine Song 2001".

The background features the "wave" sidewalk design found in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, and Frank, an eagle based on the Brazilian yellow-faced parrot, appears on K.K.'s shoulder. In New Leaf, the text at the bottom right of the cover reads "BOSSA." In New Horizons, the text reads the title of the song, "K.K. BOSSA."

Japanese Romanized English
大波 小波 さざ波

流れ着いたのは なに?
浜辺でみつけた贈り物
それは扉を開ける カギかもね...

流れ着いたのは なに?
浜辺でみつけた贈り物
君が呼んだもの かもしれないね
Onami sazanami sazanami

A wave, a splash, a ripple
Ke, ke, ke
At the shore's end, what shall there be?
A gift found on the beach
This is the key to open the door...
Beyond
the door
a pleasant time waits
Not just the wind
but also
sweets of happiness
As long as
you have those
it'll all be okay
A wave, a splash, a ripple
Ke, ke, ke
At the shore's end, what shall there be?
A gift found on the beach
It might be calling out to you
