"Animal City" is a song by K.K. Slider that first appears in Animal Crossing: New Leaf as a live-only performance, and with a bootleg version in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It can only be heard in New Leaf when making an invalid song request to K.K. Slider. When requested in New Horizons, K.K. will acknowledge it as a secret song. The song is actually a cover of the City background music from Animal Crossing: City Folk. It was first heard as a bonus track on the albums Animal Crossing: City Folk ~Forest Concert~ and Animal Crossing: Your Favorite Songs - Original Soundtrack under the name "Town Square (K.K. Live Version)".

Bettina, Gala and Gloria plays the aircheck version in their houses in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The album cover features depictions of K.K. Slider himself with Monique, Mint, Bunnie, and Wolfgang in the City Plaza. Lily and Kicks can be seen in the background, Kicks wearing his City Folk attire (lacking a shirt). A statue of Serena can be seen standing in the center of the fountain to the left.
